My name is Rachel VanArsdale, I am a 24 year old downtown Cleveland dweller who works as a social media specialist by day (sometimes night) that is looking to stop and smell the roses.

Anyone with a demanding and time consuming job can understand that “me time” sometimes can become nonexistent. I started The Reveler as an exploration of all the things beyond my career that make me who I am. My love of crafting and anything DIY, traveling and spontaneous adventures, trying to understand fashion for the sake of my inner fashionista and my journey from picky eater to novice foodie.

I am still kind of a newlywed and have been blessed to share my life (crazy one I might add) with my best friend. I married my high school sweetheart on October 15th, 2011 and life has not been the same since. He often gets pulled into many of my craft projects, which he pretends to hate so you can bet on seeing more of him.

I hope I can inspire you to stop and revel at the things that make you happy and enjoy the life you live now, not the one you dream of for the years to come. Life only happens once, and I plan on enjoying every minute of it.
